Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Focus Haus LLC collects through focushaus.co and the Focus Haus application, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Focus Haus is a personal performance product operated by Focus Haus LLC, a limited liability company formed in Wyoming, United States. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Focus Haus LLC.
This policy covers the marketing website at focushaus.co, the Focus Haus web application at app.focushaus.co, and any Focus Haus mobile application we publish.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Early access list. When you join the early access list on focushaus.co, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and phone number, along with the date and time you signed up. That is everything the sign-up form collects. We use it to send your confirmation, to send your invitation when access opens, and to reach you about that invitation if email fails. We do not send marketing text messages.
- Account information. If you create a Focus Haus account, we collect the email address and password credentials needed to authenticate you, and any optional profile details you choose to add, such as a display name.
- Content you create. The identities, systems, routines, habits, and goals you set up in the product, along with your completion history and the performance scores derived from it.
- Correspondence. Messages you send us by email, including anything you choose to include in them.
Information collected automatically
- Technical and log data. Our hosting infrastructure records standard request information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and timestamps. This is used to operate, secure, and debug the service.
- Cookies. The focushaus.co marketing site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies required to deliver and secure the site. The Focus Haus application uses cookies or equivalent local storage to keep you signed in.
Health and biometric information
Focus Haus does not currently collect health, fitness, or biometric data. We intend to offer optional integrations with third-party wearables and health platforms, such as WHOOP and Apple Health, in a future release. If and when we do, the following will apply:
- We will request your explicit, separate consent before any health or biometric data is accessed, and you will be able to use Focus Haus without granting it.
- Health and biometric data will be used only to provide product features you have asked for, such as recovery-aware scheduling and readiness scoring.
- We will never sell health or biometric data, use it for advertising or marketing, share it with data brokers, or disclose it to third parties for their own purposes.
- You will be able to disconnect an integration at any time, and disconnecting will stop further collection and allow you to delete data already received.
We will update this policy before enabling any such integration.
3. How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and improve Focus Haus.
- To send you the early access confirmation email and, later, an invitation when access opens.
- To authenticate you, secure your account, and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To calculate the progress, streaks, and performance scores that are core to the product.
- To respond to your questions and support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing.
4. Service providers
We use a small number of vendors to run the service. They process data only on our instructions and only as needed to perform their function:
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting, where early access emails and account data are stored.
- Resend — transactional email delivery, used to send confirmation and account emails.
- Our web hosting provider — serving the website and application, and retaining short-term request logs.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect the rights or safety of any person, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. If Focus Haus is ever acquired, we will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. Data retention
We keep early access sign-up details — name, email, and phone number — until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you, or until we retire the early access list. We keep account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or security reasons. Server logs are retained on a short rolling window by our hosting provider.
6. Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from the early access list using the link in any email we send. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing hello@focushaus.co. Once accounts are available, you will also be able to delete your account and all associated data directly from within the application.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. Residents of California and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws may request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected, request deletion or correction, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by those laws. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
We respond to verified requests within the timeframe required by applicable law, and in any case within 45 days.
7. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with encryption at rest by our infrastructure providers. Access to production data is limited to personnel who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users of a breach as required by law.
8. International users
Focus Haus is operated from the United States and our service providers store data in the United States. If you access Focus Haus from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
9. Children
Focus Haus is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us at hello@focushaus.co and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the application before the change takes effect.
11. Contact us
Questions, requests, or concerns about this policy can be sent to hello@focushaus.co.
